Applied Technology class is taught by Mr. Chris Dunk to give students an introduction to different forms of technology and how it affects the world we live in today. We will discuss different forms of communication, transportation, construction, and manufacturing technology that are currently being used. Students will take part in a hands on, interactive learning environment in the class to learn these certain objectives.
The 7th and 8th graders will be using a modular technology program in class. In this program, students will be in control of their learning by watching videos, reading instructions, and completing activities on certain topics including ;Introduction to Technology; Automation & Robotics; Fiber Optics & Lasers; Computer Problem Solving; Web Development; Engineering & Stress Analysis; Exploring Mechanisms; Flight Simulation; Computer Graphics; Computer Aided Drafting (CAD); CNC Mill; CNC Lathe; CO2 Raceway; and Video Production & Radio Broadcasting.
